Animals of Avalon 22" Drum

Painting this drum (which I am keeping!!) has been a journey of healing and discovery. Two friends, Badger and Fox sit between the worlds and the base of Glastonbury Tor, breathing in the night air and beckoning us to journey and adventure. The Ogham Tree Alphabet is painted around the outside of the drum, invoking the wisdom of the Trees. Painted on a 22" Remo Buffalo Drum.

I painted this beautiful 14" Remo Drum with my Goddess Wheel of the Year Mandala, which serves as a beautiful meditational and journeying tool as well as a piece of powerful art. This drum has now flown off to her new home in America.

The Leopard drum on the left (my drum!) is a synthetic Remo Buffalo Drum. I painted this almost 2 years ago and She has taken me on many a beautiful journey! The Stag painting is on a Stag hide drum. I journeyed with the drum to 'see' the spirit of the drum, interestingly enough when the owner of the drum took it home he said it was exactly how he saw the drum's spirit! I love my work! Both drums are 14".
